European Digital Services Act (DSA)

This page includes information relevant to the EU Digital Services Act (Regulation (EU) 2022/2065 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 19 October 2022 on a Single Market For Digital Services and amending Directive 2000/31/EC) (the DSA).

Designated Point of Contact

Pursuant to Articles 11 and 12 of the DSA, the Head of DSA Compliance has been designated as Apple’s point of contact for communications with Member State authorities, the European Commission, the European Board for Digital Services, and recipients of the service. Such communications should be in English.

Notice and Action Portal

Pursuant to Article 16 of the DSA, government representatives, trusted flaggers, and the general public can use the Notice and Action portal to submit notices concerning illegal content on the App Store, Apple Books (ebooks), Apple Podcasts Subscriptions, and iCloud storage.

App Store Advertising Repository

Pursuant to Article 39 of the DSA, this repository contains information about Apple-delivered advertising on the App Store in European Union countries and regions.

Redress Options

Under the DSA, recipients of the App Store, Apple Books (ebooks) and Apple Podcasts Subscriptions services are entitled to receive information about available redress options in connection with certain decisions taken by Apple.

European Recipients of Services Report

In accordance with Article 24(2) of the DSA, the recipients of the services report includes the numbers of average monthly active recipients in the EU of intermediary services within the scope of that Article, calculated as an average over the period of the past six months.

DSA Risk Assessment

Pursuant to Articles 34 and 35 of the DSA, this report sets out the results of Apple’s annual assessment of the systemic risks stemming from the design, function or use of the App Stores in the EU, as well as its assessment of the risk mitigation measures that it has put in place to address those risks.
